How to maintain micro switch 


Q1: The load does not turn on even if the switch is pressed. Is that why?

A1: The following reasons can be considered:

(1) It may be poor contact. Insufficient press. A general type of switch (contact silver is used) on a micro load (electronic circuit).

(2) It may be that the joint has melted.

(3) It may be that the internal spring is broken.

(4) It may be that the operating speed is inconsistent.

(5) It may be that the operating frequency is inconsistent.

(6) Garbage and dust may be attached.

 

Q2: What is the cause of insulation aging (burning)? How to prevent it?

A2: The following reasons can be considered:

Cause 1: Due to the large capacity of the load, the arc and the contacts will scatter around.

Countermeasure 1: Do not switch the load directly with a switch, and switch the load with a relay or contactor.

Cause 2: The humidity is too high, causing a sharp change in the ambient temperature, and a large amount of water is immersed. After the liquid is immersed, the insulation is carbonized due to arc heat or the like.

Countermeasure 2: Eliminate the cause. Or put it in a box or use a sealed switch.

 

Q3: What are the causes of poor contact? How to solve?

A3: Reason 1: Garbage and dust are attached.

Countermeasure 1: Eliminate the cause. Or put it in a box or use a sealed switch.

Cause 2: The influence of malignant gas in the environment, or the formation of an insulating coating layer on the surface of the contact due to the low load area switch.

Countermeasure 2: Replace the switch that contains the material (gold, alloy, etc.) with good environmental adaptability.

Cause 3: A flux that is immersed in solder.

Countermeasure 3: Correct the soldering method by using a switch that does not immerse in the flux.

Q4: Although the micro switch is held down, it may not be possible to input to the programmable controller. What are the reasons? How to solve?

A4: Under normal circumstances, the DC input of the programmable controller is DC12V~24V mA. The rated current of the general model micro switch is 5~10mA. The contacts are made of silver. Due to the action of sulfurized gas, oxidizing gas, etc. in the atmosphere, silver forms an insulating coating layer on the surface, resulting in poor contact. Use a micro switch with a micro load with a gold alloy contact.


Q5: Is there a micro switch that can be used in a vacuum?

A5: TZ has a longer service life in vacuum.

The general switch may cause aging of the resin, but the TZ uses ceramic and stainless steel, and there is no problem in terms of materials. However, since the switching capacity in vacuum is different from that in the atmosphere, it is recommended to judge the machine after confirmation.

 

Q6: What is the micro switch for the door switch?

A6: The hinge ball type is suitable.
